Marcie was first drawn to the art of massage due to her interest in holistic health, her sincere wish to connect with the people of her community, and the desire to heal others hands-on.
As a graduate of the University of Western States' 750-hour massage program, she learned a variety of massage techniques including: Swedish, deep tissue, prenatal, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and sports massage. In addition to her students clinics, Marcie participated in many outreach events providing chair massage and sports massage.
From the beginning, Marcie has been interested in Thai massage. At one point, she followed this passion on a journey to Thailand, for training in Chang Mai, and continued her studies in Portland at the Naga Center. The techniques and philosophies of Thai massage have shaped her approach to her craft, and they continue to influence her work today.
Marcie creates customized sessions for every client depending on each person's specific needs using a blend of relaxation, deep tissue, and eastern bodywork techniques.
